Ailyn Pérez is set to reprise her role as Alice Ford in Robert Carsen’s highly acclaimed production of Falstaff at The Metropolitan Opera next month. Ms. Pérez has received widespread critical acclaim for her past performances as Alice, with her nuanced and expressive portrayal and exceptional vocal artistry impressing audiences and critics alike. Opera Wire has praised Pérez’s “lush soprano” and “great vocal nimbleness coupled with impeccable diction throughout,” noting that she was “the personification of poised and collected both physically and vocally.”

Joining Ms. Pérez in the cast is a talented ensemble of singers, including Michael Volle in his Met debut as Falstaff, Christopher Maltman as Ford, Jennifer Johnson Cano as Meg Page, Marie-Nicole Lemieux as Mistress Quickly, Hera Hyesang Park as Nannetta, and Bogdan Volkov as Fenton.
