On May 12, 13, 14, & 15, Ailyn Pérez debuts in Beethoven’s epic Ninth Symphony with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. At the helm, Music Director Jader Bignamini conducts this influential Symphony that celebrates brotherhood and the quest for peace, featuring one of the most iconic compositions in classical music – its heart-swelling “Ode to Joy”.
Ms. Pérez shares the stage with a stellar group of soloists, including mezzo-soprano Sasha Cooke, tenor Saimir Pirgu, and bass Luiz-Ottavio Faria.
