Ailyn Pérez stars as the Countess in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro at Staatsoper Hamburg on June 6, 10, 12, and 15. Featuring a “fresh and robust” (Opera News) production by Stefan Herheim, Nicholas André conducts a star-studded cast and the Philharmonisches Staatsorchester Hamburg.
Previously hailed for her “lusciously voiced Countess” that “[gave] the show its beating heart” (The New Yorker), Ms. Pérez will share the stage with a fantastic roster of artists, including Christoph Pohl as Count Almaviva, Narea Son as Susanna, Alessio Arduini as Figaro, Serena Malfi as Cherubino, Ulrike Helzel as Marcellina, Manuel Günther as Basilio, Peter Galliard as Don Curzio, Tigran Martirossian as Bartolo, Chao Deng as Antonio, and Sujin Choi as Barbarina.
