Ailyn Pérez returns to the Bayerische Staatsoper to star as Violetta in Verdi’s La Traviata on June 16, 19, 22. Pérez has performed the role around the world at the Teatro di San Carlo, Royal Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Hamburg State Opera, among others.
Ms. Pérez revisits Günter Krämer’s production, sharing the stage with Daria Proszek as Flora Bervoix, Yajie Zhang as Annina, Liparit Avetisyan as Alfredo, Plácido Domingo as Germont, Caspar Singh as Gaston, Milan Siljanov as Baron Douphol, Andrew Hamilton as Marquis d’Obigny, Bálint Szabó as Doktor Grenvil, George Vîrban as Giuseppe, Theodore Platt as Ein Diener Floras, and Christian Valle as Ein Gärtner. Keri-Lynn Wilson conducts the Bayerisches Staatsorchester and Chorus.
