On Saturday, May 22, at 1pm ET / 7pm CEST, Ailyn Pérez joins forces with her dynamic colleagues, soprano Nadine Sierra and mezzo-soprano Isabel Leonard, for a “Three Divas” concert, part of the Met Stars Live in Concert series. Transmitted live from the stunning Royal Opera of Versailles in France, this event is presented in association with the Opéra Royal du Château de Versailles, whose glorious 250-year-old theater was the venue for Marie Antoinette’s royal wedding.
Ms. Pérez and her fabulous colleagues will be accompanied by pianist Vlad Iftinca and guitarist Pablo Sáinz-Villegas for this special event. Together they will perform works from Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette, Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Vivaldi’s Griselda, and more, as well as songs by Heitor Villa-Lobos, Consuelo Velázquez, and Manuel Ponce, among others.
