On August 15, Ailyn Pérez will make her debut with a solo performance at the Ravinia Festival. In the midst of her milestone mark season, including role debuts as Rusalka, Madama Butterfly, and Florencia en el Amazonas, she partners with Steans Music Institute Singers Program Director Kevin Murphy on piano.
This homecoming concert features a special program of songs by Fauré, Manuel de Falla, Fernando Obradors, and Granados, among others. In addition to her solo concert, Ms. Pérez will lead a masterclass with singers from the Ravinia Steans Music Institute on August 11 at 2pm in Bennett Gordon Hall.
