For her first operatic engagement in the 2022/23 season, Ailyn Pérez returns to the Royal Opera House in her signature role of Mimì in Puccini’s La Bohème. Under the baton of Kevin John Edusei, performances will take place on October 14, 17, 20, November 5, 9 & 12.

Hailed by critics and audiences worldwide for her dramatic and musical portrayals as Mimì, Anthony Tommasini from The New York Times praised her performance in 2019 at the Met Opera saying, “Ms. Pérez, singing with melting sound and affecting vulnerability, made an endearing Mimì, a sensual young woman not afraid to let go when feelings of romantic longing welled up at the first sight of Rodolfo.”

Ms. Pèrez the stage with Juan Diego Flórez as Rodolfo, Andrey Zhilikhovsky as Marcello, Danielle de Niese as Musetta, Ross Ramgobin as Shaunard, Michael Mofidian as Colline, Jeremy White as Benoît, and Wyn Pencarreg as Alcindoro.
