With a highly anticipated role debut beginning the year in Italy, Ailyn Peréz’s thrilling 2018/19 season will include operatic and concert appearances at leading operatic, concert, and recital venues throughout Europe and the United States.

She begins the season at the historic Teatro alla Scala for her role debut as Elvira in Verdi’s Ernani, led by Ádám Fischer (September 29 & October 2, 6, 9, 13, 18, 22, 25). She returns to The Metropolitan Opera stage for her reprisal of Mimì in Zeffirelli’s iconic production of Puccini’s La bohème (November 29 & December 3, 6, 10, 13) and will sing Alice Ford in Verdi’s Falstaff conducted by Richard Farnes (February 22, 27 & March 2, 5, 12, 16). Ms. Pérez then travels to the Houston Grand Opera to sing Donna Anna in Kasper Holten’s new production of Mozart’s Don Giovanni (April 20, 27, 30 & May 3, 5). She returns to the Bayerische Staatsoper for her prized role of Violetta Valéry in Verdi’s La traviata (June 28 & July 1). Ms. Pérez concludes her operatic season with her portrayal of Micaëla in Bizet’s Carmen at the Royal Opera House (June 22, 24 & July 5, 10, 13, 16, 20).

Concert appearances include a ‘New Year’s Concert’ with the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Sascha Goetzel (January 10). She travels to the Czech Republic for a concert with the Prague Philharmonia (January 15), then returns to the U.S. to sing Verdi’s Requiem in her first appearance with the Minnesota Orchestra (May 17, 18, 19). Ms. Pérez makes her highly anticipated debut with the Los Angeles Philharmonic in a performance featuring Beethoven’s Mass in C and Haydn’s Lord Nelson Mass, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel (May 25 & 26).
