Ailyn Pérez teams up with tenor Brian Jagde on February 1 to present a Master Class/QnA event for music students at Houston’s High School for the Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA). Both artists are currently starring in productions with Houston Grand Opera; Ms. Pérez sings the role of Countess Almaviva in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro (on stage through February 7) and Mr. Jagde is The Prince in Dvořák’s Rusalka.
The duo will work with individual students during the master class and facilitate an interactive QnA session, answering questions about their respective journeys to the stage, the challenges of life on the road, and more! Stay tuned via Ailyn’s social channels for updates from this special event.
