Ailyn Pérez returns to the Deutsche Oper Berlin this December, as Adina in Donizetti’s sparkling comedy L’elisir d’amore. Ms. Perez was last at the Deutsche Oper in 2013 as Violetta in La traviata, where she received critical acclaim for her “clear, sweet voice . . . golden tone” and “elegant” acting (Bachtrack).
She is joined by Paolo Fanale as Nemorino, Thomas Lehman as Belcore, and Seth Carico as Dulcamara, with Nicholas Carter on the podium. Performances take place December 18 & 22; visit the production page online for a trailer and behind-the-scenes video content.
