Kicking off the Jacksonville Symphony’s 75th season, Ailyn Pérez will make her debut with the orchestra on September 21. Pérez will take center stage as the soprano soloist in Mahler’s monumental Second Symphony, known as the “Resurrection.”
Joining Pérez for this epic performance are Maestro Courtney Lewis and acclaimed mezzo-soprano Isabel Leonard. The vocal power extends beyond the soloists, featuring a combined chorus that brings together the Jacksonville Symphony Chorus (celebrating its 40th anniversary), the University of North Florida Chorale, and Jacksonville University’s JU Singers.
