Ailyn Pérez will lead the fifth Memorial for Us All streaming broadcast on May 31 at 6 pm ET. Amid the coronavirus pandemic, faith leaders have enlisted New York City artists and the Lincoln Center to offer a weekly Memorial For Us All, a secular community remembrance, welcoming all to celebrate the lives of those who have left us too soon.
This series, which launched May 3 with Wynton Marsalis and has also featured Yo-Yo Ma, Norm Lewis, and Kelli O’Hara, offers solidarity and comfort to those grieving, through the power of music, as we celebrate the memories of those we have lost during the global pandemic. Anyone who has lost a loved one during the pandemic is invited to submit the name of a friend or family member to be honored here.
Access the performance via the Lincoln Center’s YouTube channel, Facebook page, and on Lincoln Center at Home.
