Ailyn Pérez will now sing five additional performances of Mimì in Franco Zeffirelli’s iconic production of La Bohème this season at The Metropolitan Opera. The dates are September 28 and October 1, 6, 10 & 14; Ailyn also sings the role on January 6, 11 & 14. Her cast in the fall includes Dmytro Popov as Rodolfo, Susanna Phillips as Musetta, and David Bizic sings Marcello, with Maestro Carlo Rizzi leading from the pit. In January Ms. Pérez sings alongside Michael Fabiano as Rodolfo, Alessio Arduini as Marcello, with Ms. Phillips reprising the role of Musetta and Maestro Rizzi conducting.
