Jumping in for an indisposed colleague, Ailyn Pérez makes her debut as the soprano soloist in Verdi’s iconic Requiem with Montreal’s Orchestre Métropolitain on March 24. The special one-night-only concert at the Maison Symphonique de Montréal, honoring 200th anniversary of the the legendary composer’s birth, is lead by the Orchestre Métropolitain’s Artistic Director and Principal Conductor, Yannick Nézet-Séguin. Pérez joins a distinguished lineup of soloists for the performance including mezzo-soprano Karen Cargill, tenor John Mac Master and bass-baritone Andrew Foster-Williams.
