On January 3 & 4, Ailyn Pérez will make her highly anticipated debut at Teatro Real de Madrid, singing her signature role of Mimì in Puccini’s La bohème. Richard Jones’ acclaimed production features spectacular designs by Stewart Laing, setting the compelling story in late 19th-century Paris. This summer, Ms. Pérez will reprise the role of Mimì at the Bayerische Staatsoper.
Ms. Pérez will share the stage with two fantastic casts including Francesco Demuro and Michael Fabiano as Rodolfo, Gabriel Bermúdez as Schaunard, Pablo García López and Vicenç Esteve as Benoit, Javier Franco as Marcello, Soloman Howard and Krzysztof Bączyk as Colline, and Raquel Lojendio as Musetta.
